Before being moved to Kentucky this coaster first operated in China. But, apparently the people there were too scared to ride it! This ride now operates as Flashback at Six Flags New England.

We don’t want it anymore… take it back, China…. jk… not really…

That first day we were trying to get Dan’s eyes to be green because that’s what they are in the book.
And Dan was wearing contact lenses.
He was allergic to them and after we made the decision to remove them, but the first day we tried to work through it.
So for the last scene when he’s saying good-bye to Hagrid you can see almost his eyes tearing and his eye a little bit swollen and it feels like he’s about to cry.
He probably was but he never complained.
We removed the contacts and he’s never had green eyes since.

I finally went through my coaster list and ranked anything that I think deserved a ranking hurrah!

Diamondback (Kings Island)
Nitro (SF Great Adventure)
Tatsu (SF Magic Mountain)
Magnum XL-200 (Cedar Point)
Backlot Stunt Coaster (Kings Island)
Boulderdash (Lake Compounce)
Raptor (Cedar Point)
Beast (Kings Island)
X2 (SF Magic Mountain)
Apocalypse (SF Magic Mountain)

There are probably a few things that could be switched. Boulderdash might be a couple spots higher, but I haven’t ridden it in ages. I think it may actually be just above Magnum. I have to reride Nitro to make sure I have it ranked right, I’ve never tried to get airtime on it like I did on Diamondback. And I’m not even really sure if X2 or Apocalypse deserve to be ranked. I really wanna reride X2 because I only rode it once and it’s possible my one impression wasn’t the best, I feel like I might actually like it better than I say.

Side note: my count is at 80! Only 20 more for my goal this summer!
